Simplicity Starts with the Transposase

seqWell’s NGS library prep solutions focus on transposases. These enzymes can mediate a single-step reaction that both fragments and tags DNA with adapter sequences – a process frequently referred to as tagmentation. Tagmentation inherently simplifies library preparation by eliminating the multi-step processes of fragmentation, end-repair, and adapter ligation that other methods rely on.

Tn5 is the transposase most commonly used within traditional library preparation workflows. seqWell harnessed fit-for-purpose enzyme engineering to develop its proprietary TnX, next generation transposase to enhance sequencing performance, workflow robustness, and NGS data quality & uniformity.
